Campus Library At A Glance

 

The Campus has an excellent Library housed in a Commodious reading hall with the capacity of 100 Students. The library is equipped with a large number of books on Education in particular and on general subjects like General Knowledge, UGC and Competitive books etc. The library has very rich collection of rare books and few Encyclopaedias on various subjects.

Our Campus Library serves as a portal from where the students and faculty can access various reading material for their education and all round development. As such the library reading room provides excellent atmosphere to students and teachers to update their knowledge in various fields.

REGULAR FEATURES OF LIBRARY

  • Reader's orientation programme for fresh entrants.
  • Newspaper clippings for Campus activities.
  • Internet facility for online search and browsing.

LIBRARY COLLECTION (UIET & DCSA)

  • The library has total 19643 books in UIET Library. The Library has 1132 books in DCSA Library. Students can use INTERNET facility for browsing in UIET Computer lab.

LIBRARY COLLECTION (UILS)

  • The Library has also 4291 books in UILS Library. The UILS Library has also have reading hall with the capacity of 50 Students. Students can use INTERNET facility for browsing in UILS Computer lab.

MEMBERSHIP AND BORROWING PRIVILEGES
The Faculty Members can get 08 books issued from library for the teaching and research purpose. All the Students of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses can get 04 books issued from library for the tenure of 15 days with renewal facility. For the final examination, the students are privileged to get books issued.

LIBRARY CODE OF CONDUCT

  • To keep silence & discipline in the library is the key requirement of library.
  • Using the library and borrowing books from it, is a privilege given to its members. Any misuse of this or violation of any rules may lead to the cancellation of this privilege.
  • The use of mobiles in library is not allowed.
  • Marking in the books, tearing of pages and non-renewal of books may deprive a member from his/her membership.
  • Users can use INTERNET facility for browsing in library.
  • Students and Teachers may recommend the purchase of new books for the library.
