SSGPURC has Training and Placement cell headed by Dr. Gurinder Singh. The students are selected in the cell through interview. Besides creating different job avenues for the students, cell ensures that students are well equipped to meet the requirements of the industry. The students of SSGPURC have been placed in reputed companies with good packages.
About SSGPURC
The University started its 2nd Technical Institute in Kandi Area of Punjab at Hoshiarpur from the session 2006-2007 . The campus has been started keeping in mind objective of upliftment of rural students through technical education, quality training programs in need based modern technology, inculcation of moral, ethical and spiritual values in education at all levels. The campus has been established in a beautiful lush green environment with state-of-the-art Infrastructure. The institute offers B.E. Course in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Information & Technology Engineering started w.e.f. session 2011-12.

Our Facilities
It as well equipped Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Physics and Chemistry Laboratories to train the students. Along with other infrastructure the Centre has Workshop facility, Library, Health Centre and Student Bus facility. State-of-the-art Computer facilities, Auditorium, independent lease line 2 MBPS Internet connectivity and Wi-Fi helps students to access the Internet services beyond location barriers. The students under going the course are able to study in the conducive environment & infrastructure befitting the level of the Panjab University under the able guidance of well qualified faculty. The institute has research oriented faculty having Govt. funded Research Projects. The campus is also connected with the Hot-Line i.e. 24 hours uninterrupted power supply from PSEB. The First batch of the campus has passed out with high placement records.
